Bitterroot Outfitters is a combination of 4 former outfitting businesses and is currently one of Montana's biggest backcountry outfitting businesses in area size. Our wilderness permits allows us to hunt in over 100 square miles. The fires of 2000 burned 300,000 acres of the Bitterroot and created excellent elk habitat. We hunt the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness & entire Bitterroot National Forest and Idaho's Selway Wilderness.
